"Having Sneijder is a total luxury"

While Spain is head over heals with Sneijder, things aren't much different from the Netherlands' team camp, where Ruud Van Nistelrooy sat down with sports daily AS and spoke marvels about his teammate.

Sneijder: "Wesley is a very talented kid; and talent isn't measured in height, but by what he does with his feet. He's got a great attitude and know-how. Sneijder is a great signing; a totally luxury for Real Madrid."

The team: "I'll help wherever I can. That's what's best for the team. We're doing okay right now, but we have to stay calm, continue down this road, and continue improving, which I think there is still room for."

"Being a leader on Madrid isn't my objective. I think we have plenty of experience in Raúl and Guti. I am going to play and train. The younger guys are very good. We're going to try to keep this course. This Real Madrid is comprised of a very solid group of guys. It's a real group, and it's going to pay off throughout the season."
